Dr. Amine Jules Iskandar is an Architect DPLG (French government diploma) from the Ecole d’Architecture et d’Urbanisme de Versailles. He got his DEA in Sacred Art from the USEK (Kaslik) University, and his Doctorate (PhD) from the Lebanese University. He is specialized in history of Lebanese architecture and heritage. His architecture office, Trifora, has been practicing in Lebanon since 1996 and is mainly specialized in building traditional and modern villas and houses. These projects can be visited on Facebook and on Instagram under the name Trifora Architecture. He is a member and an expert at the association of PBVL “Les Plus Beaux Villages du Liban”, aiming to protect the remaining traditional villages of Lebanon as a unique typology in the Middle East. Dr. Amine Jules Iskandar has been teaching “Architecture Design” at the Institute of Fine-Arts and Architecture of the Lebanese University since 1995. He is the author of several articles, TV reportages, and books. His published books are about history and identity in architecture and art in Lebanon.
